Copperas Website Privacy Notice

What This Covers

This notice applies to the copperas.io website — our marketing and download pages. It does not cover the Copperas desktop app or its cloud features, which are described in our separate App Privacy Policy. The website has no accounts, contact forms, or email sign-ups; we do not collect your name, email, or account details through the website.

Analytics & Advertising

The copperas.io website uses Google services to understand how the site is used and to measure our advertising:

• Google Analytics (GA4) collects usage data such as the pages you visit, session counts, approximate location, device and browser type, and download events.
• Google Ads conversion tracking measures which visits and downloads resulted from our advertisements, so we can tell whether our ads are effective.

These tags are loaded through Google Tag Manager. They set cookies and send data to Google, which may process that data in accordance with its own policies. None of this runs inside the Copperas desktop app.

Server Logs

Like most websites, our content-delivery infrastructure may record standard technical information (such as IP address, request time, and user agent) for security and operational purposes.

Your Choices

You can opt out of Google’s analytics and advertising tracking by using Google’s opt-out tools or a browser extension that blocks analytics and advertising scripts, and by managing cookies in your browser.

Children

The website is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data through it.

Changes

We may update this notice; the current version is always available at copperas.io/app-privacy.
